Regular prenatal check-ups help ensure the baby is on the right track of development. The doctor will check the fetal heart rate, the mother’s weight, blood pressure, and urine if necessary. The mother’s weight gain will indicate if the baby is gaining weight or not. You will also feel the baby’s movements regularly. If there is a change, you should inform your doctor immediately.
The baby will be quite active and moving around freely at 27 weeks. The movements will be more when the baby is awake and active, and will be less when they are asleep.
