Best Pregnancy Care in Hyderabad

Just like any other medical procedure, gestation requires immense care of both the body and mind to ensure safe delivery and optimal health of both the mother and the infant. The many aspects of pregnancy range from the various symptoms that women often face, including any complications that may occur during the delivery. To solve these or prevent them from the very beginning, you must entrust yourself to the hands of an expert.

Cloudnine is known as one of the best Pregnancy Care hospitals in Hyderabad. We are home to doctors who do not give up, no matter the circumstances. They have years of experience and have seen multiple cases, each varying from the other. They have dealt with many situations that once seemed impossible but were overcome by perseverance.

Being the best maternity hospital in Hyderabad, we are home to a host of services that include but are not limited to:

  • Highly qualified health professionals
  • Well-trained and certified staff
  • Modern prenatal and postnatal care
  • Spacious and luxurious rooms

Cloudnine also offers high-quality normal delivery services. It is also said to be the best normal delivery hospital in Hyderabad. Even before the entire process, it offers pre-marriage counselling to ladies and provides all the relevant information to expectant mothers about what they should expect during this period.

Other services that the Department of Gynaecology at Cloudnine, Hyderabad has to offer are:

Prenatal Care – It is the care that a woman gets while she is pregnant. Regular prenatal care can help women and their babies to stay healthy. The doctors find and deal with any problems as soon as possible. Women must start prenatal care as early as possible.

Routine Visits and Testing – Expecting mothers should call to schedule their first check-up with our team of some of the best gynaecologists in Hyderabad during the first 6 to 8 weeks of their pregnancy or when their period is 2 to 4 weeks late. With each check-up, the weight and blood pressure are monitored. The size and shape of the uterus are also measured. It is to see whether the foetus is fine and normally growing and developing.

Diet and Weight Gain - Numerous pregnant women wonder about weight gain. However, there is no one-size-fits-all to pregnancy weight gain. During gestation, women with a healthy pre-pregnancy weight (BMI 18.5 to 24.9) should gain about 11 to 16 kgs. For women who start their pregnancy overweight (BMI 25 to 29.9), total weight gain should be nearly around 7 to 11 kgs. Women who are obese pre-pregnancy (BMI 30 or more), should gain around 5 to 9 kgs. Those who are underweight (BMI below 18.5) should gain almost 13-18 kgs. Pregnancy is a great time to enjoy healthier foods.

Vaccines – Your doctor may recommend a couple of vaccines during pregnancy. The flu shot can control flu-related problems for expectant moms. The vaccines against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis are now recommended for all pregnant women in the second half of each pregnancy. Pregnant women can and should get a COVID-19 vaccine, including a booster dose. The vaccine is safe for them now.

In-house blood bank, laboratory services and pharmacy - Access to blood banks is vital. If the mother bleeds excessively after the birth, she may need a blood transfusion. Having an authorised in-house lab can aid with timely tests and reports. It is accessible for patients and doctors, especially when an urgent diagnosis is needed. And a well-stocked pharmacy on the hospital premises saves you the bother of running around if you need any prescription medication.

When you are pregnant, you need to take that extra bit of care both for yourself and your baby. And Cloudnine, with its team of the best gynaecologists in Hyderabad, ensures you get that!

PRETERM LABOUR-Major Causes, Warning Signs | Dr.Girija Lakshmi
"Firstly what is preterm labour? Generally any kind of delivery which happens before 37 weeks is taken as a Preterm labour. But if at all it happens before for 32 weeks that's when we say that it's Borderline pre term and if it is less than 28 weeks of your complete 40 weeks of pregnancy that's when we say that it's an extreme pre-term labour. So when should you be worried that you might be going into pre-term labour is if there is any kind of a repeated pain in your lower abdomen where you feel that there is a complete tightness. Together with this if there is any kind of a increased vaginal discharge which is almost like a fluid leaking outside or if there is any bleeding that is unusual during your second and third trimesters. These are the general signs and symptoms that you might be probably going into a Preterm labour. There are some women who are very high risk towards a preterm labor those people who are very stressed out, who are going through undue physical strain, who have previously had a preterm labour as well as multiple pregnancies, that is twins and triplets. Apart from this medical conditions like diabetes mellitus as well as hypertension can also cause Preterm labour pains. So be aware of this and make sure you understand your pregnancy properly so that you would know whether you are a prime suspect or a cause going through a pre-term labor or not"

MULTIPLE PREGNANCY Exclusive Pregnancy Care I Dr. Samatha Kumar
"Multiple pregnancies twins and triplets the antenatal care is more frequent antenatal visits with the doctor more frequent ultrasound to monitor the growth of the baby. So in the first trimester we usually ask for a scan to confirm pregnancy between 7 to 8 weeks of pregnancy. Then a scan between 11 to 14 weeks is the month which will diagnose whether it is a monochorionic twins or a dichorionic twins. If it's a dichorionic twins after the first trimester screening is done we usually call them at around 16 weeks to get an cervical length scan which will pick up if there is any shortening of the cervix and if required we might put the cerclage stitch for her. In monochorionic twins along with the cervical scan 16 week scan we can pick up Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome also then we do a TIFFA scan in 20 weeks and then every 4 weeks we do scans pick up how the babies are growing. Along with this we ask the mother to take iron and calcium supplements regularly. We advise the mother to monitor the blood pressure regularly at home so that we can pick up eclampsia at a early stage. We screen the mothers for gestational diabetes by doing an OGTT between 24 to 28 weeks and yes in Twin pregnancies from 28 weeks we would call them every 2 weeks for regular antenatal checkups. In dichorionic twin pregnancy we can wait up to 37 to 38 weeks for delivery and then monochorionic twins from 36 to 37 weeks we can plan delivery"
How are SIAMESE or CONJOINED TWINS formed? I Dr. Samatha Kumar
"So twins are formed by either the fertilized egg dividing into two babies or two eggs fertilized separately by the sperms. So where the fertilized egg is divided, they're going separated in that two identical twins formed. In conjoined twins they don't separate completely. There is a union between the twins partially. The union can be at the chest, can be at the abdomen, or it can be at the pelvis. Depending on the type of union we give different names for this conjoined twins. Many of conjoin twins do not actually survive till delivery. But few are born but they are conjoined they have complications sometimes they can even share their internal or. So based on how much of internal organs are shared. They can undergo surgery, get them separated and there are few successful surgeries perform on conjoined twins"
