Ms. Archana Reddy is a certified Nutritionist who switched over completely to Lactation & breastfeeding support.
Her journey as Lactation Professional started in 2014, as peer supporter in online forums. While she started working in mother and child care set-up, she saw myths around breastfeeding and lack of skilled support for breastfeeding mothers, she got her certificate in lactation education & counselling (CLEC) from University of California. She started her journey as Lactation counsellor in 2016.
Now she is International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) & BPNI (Breastfeeding promotion network of India) certified IYCF (Infant and young feeding) Specialist. She also TOTS trainer for Baby friendly hospital initiative (BFHI) from World Health Organization (WHO).
She offers breastfeeding support to all the families to achieve their breastfeeding goals. Her special interest lies in NICU mothers, babies with tethered oral tissues (Tongue & Lip Ties).
She also conducts online & offline antenatal classes for pregnant couples.
She is involved in training of healthcare professional’s ad conducting hands on workshop regarding lactation skills. She is a National External assessor for baby friendly hospital initiative ( BFHI- India).
