"PCOD patients, they generally presents with irregular menstrual cycles. To understand what happens in a PCOS patients, we should understand what happens in a normal woman. in our brain there is a gland called the anterior pituitary gland which is situated in the base of the brain and the anterior lobe secretes LH and FSH hormones. These hormones they acts on the ovaries and they stimulate the formation of mature follicles and these maturing follicles, they release the estrogen and progesterone, which cause the ripening of the endometrium and its maturation.
