She has been a keen academician with many papers in International and National Journals to her credit. She has been invited as Guest Speaker in various National Conferences. An active member of various societies Indian Menopause Society as Treasurer and executive member of Chandigarh Obstetric and Gynaecology Society. Social work being the most important part of traing at MGIMS Sewagram she continues to do her duty by being convenor of Club 35 plus and also conducts awareness sessions among women groups. She has been recipient of Pranay Health Care Excellence award,Swami Vivekand Excellence award.
