Dr. Venu A. Kulkarni is a Consultant in Neonatology & Paediatrics at Cloudnine Hospital, Mohali. He is a trained Neonatologist with extensive experience in the care of newborns, premature babies, and critically ill neonates.

He completed his MBBS and MD in Paediatrics, followed by his DM in Neonatology from the prestigious Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. His training at PGIMER has provided him with specialized expertise in managing high-risk newborns and critically ill neonates requiring intensive care.

Dr. Kulkarni has worked as a Consultant Neonatologist at Aarogya Hospital, an Ayushman-empanelled hospital near PGI, Chandigarh. He has also been associated with Cloudphysician, where he contributes to technology-enabled neonatal care and tele-medicine services aimed at improving access to specialized neonatal expertise.

At Cloudnine Hospital, Mohali, Dr. Kulkarni has taken on the responsibility of helping establish and develop the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) from the ground up. His role includes developing clinical protocols, establishing standardized care pathways, conducting clinical audits, and implementing quality improvement systems to create a strong foundation for safe and evidence-based neonatal care.

As a neonatologist, Dr. Kulkarni manages a wide range of neonatal conditions, including prematurity, respiratory distress, neonatal infections, jaundice, feeding difficulties, neonatal emergencies, and other conditions requiring intensive care.
