Dr. Venu A. Kulkarni has been appointed to build the NICU at Cloudnine, Mohali, from the ground up. This marks an exciting new venture for both Dr. Kulkarni and Cloudnine, as the organization expands into the Tricity region following the strong success of its Chandigarh and Panchkula centers.

In his new role, Dr. Kulkarni will be responsible for establishing clinical protocols, conducting clinical audits, and implementing quality improvement systems from the outset. His mandate is to lay a strong foundation for a unit focused on delivering safe, high-quality neonatal intensive care to the region.

Dr. Kulkarni completed his DM in Neonatology from PGIMER, Chandigarh, and has since worked as a Consultant Neonatologist at Aarogya Hospital, an Ayushman-empaneled hospital near PGI, Chandigarh. He also serves as a Consultant Neonatologist at Cloudphysician, contributing to telemedicine and AI-driven solutions aimed at expanding access to quality neonatal care.

His new role brings together his experience in hands-on NICU development, protocol-driven clinical care, and technology-enabled neonatal healthcare. With this combination of clinical expertise and innovation, Dr. Kulkarni looks forward to building a high-quality neonatal care unit and shaping the next chapter of newborn care in the Tricity region.
