Dr. Ashima Gulia has over 12 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She specialises in conducting deliveries and performing cesarean sections, both open and laparoscopic surgeries. Dr. Gulia is also proficient in managing complicated and high-risk cases. She is a champion for natural birthing and has been working at making childbirth a positive and joyful experience.

During the antenatal care and labour process, she strives to avoid cesarean sections unless necessary; while she is also adept in performing all elective and emergency cesarean sections, she is trained in Colposcopy, Hysteroscopy, and Laparoscopic surgeries. Trained in the management of cases of infertility and Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) procedures.

She has received multiple awards, including the prestigious Infosys Foundation Gold Medal in 2007, and was the best-outgoing student of her batch in MBBS.

Education - MBBS, MD (Obstetrics & Gynaecology), DNB, Diploma in Advanced Laparoscopy, KIEL, Germany, FMAS - Fellowship in minimal access surgery.

Area of Interest: Normal vaginal delivery, infertility management and managing females with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopic surgeries, major and minor open gynae surgeries.
