Dr. Akshay Krishna is a dedicated Neonatologist and Pediatrician, trained extensively in both basic and advanced pediatric and neonatal care. From 2017 to 2020, he honed his skills at SAT Hospital, Government Medical College, Trivandrum, where he gained in-depth exposure to the management of a wide range of pediatric conditions, with a special focus on critical care. His outstanding performance during this period was recognized with multiple awards in state and national-level competitions organized by the National Neonatology Forum (NNF) and the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP).

Dr.Akshay further pursued Neonatology and Neonatal Perinatal Intensive Care at the prestigious Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Hospital and Medical College (LTMMC), Sion, Mumbai, one of India's leading tertiary care centers. In recognition of his academic distinction, he was awarded the prestigious “Prof. Dr. V.N. Ingle Gold Medal” for excellence in DM Neonatology by the Maharashtra University.

He is deeply committed to advancing neonatal outcomes, with a focused goal of achieving intact survival for the most vulnerable newborns and critically ill children. Alongside his clinical expertise, he is actively involved in teaching and mentoring DM and fellowship trainees in Neonatology and Pediatrics, as well as participating in clinical research initiatives. He holds life memberships with professional bodies including the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP), the National Neonatology Forum (NNF), and the Breastfeeding Promotion Network of India (BPNI).
