Dr. Sushil Kumar K is an accomplished Neonatologist and Paediatrician with nearly a decade of experience in advanced neonatal intensive care, specializing in the management of critically ill and extremely preterm newborns. He obtained his DM in Neonatology from the prestigious Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow, one of India's leading centers for advanced neonatal care.

His expertise includes neonatal resuscitation, advanced ventilation including HFOV, inhaled nitric oxide therapy, hemodynamic monitoring, and point-of-care neonatal ultrasonography (POCUS). He has extensive experience managing complex neonatal conditions including extreme prematurity, neonatal sepsis, respiratory failure, and congenital cardiac and surgical disorders.

Dr. Kumar has multiple international publications and research presentations, including at the Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) meeting, Washington DC. He is a Fellow of the National Neonatology Forum (NNF), India, and a National Instructor for the Basic Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) India (2025).

During his training period, Dr. Kumar was honored with the prestigious Prof. Meharban Singh Best Research Paper Award (Gold Medal) by the Indian Academy of Pediatrics – Neonatology Chapter, recognizing his excellence in neonatal research and academic contributions.

He is also affiliated with several global neonatal networks including the Newborn Brain Society, NIDCAP Federation International (NFI), Perinatal Society of Australia & New Zealand (PSANZ), British Association of Perinatal Medicine (BAPM), Vermont Oxford Network, Cochrane Patient & Public Network, The Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne learning network, European School of Neonatology, and CHOP Open.
