Dr. Astha Sahni, Associate Director of Radiology & Fetal and Breast Imaging & a Senior Consultant having 14 years of clinical experience as a skilled radiologist and specialist in fetal and breast imaging and interventions. She completed her MBBS from HIMS Dehradun and DMRD from JNMC, KLE University, Belgaum, Karnataka. Following which she has pursued specialisation in advanced materno-fetal imaging (Certification from SFM in detailed early & anomaly screening & advanced fetal neuro-sonography) and breast imaging & interventions (Certification in collaboration with NHS & RCR as well as BISI). She has also pursued Executive Healthcare Management from IIM Calcutta. She has recently pursued expertise in artificial intelligence in healthcare from IISC Bangalore in collaboration with Aster healthcare.

Dr Astha Sahni is highly dedicated to advanced fetal imaging—early detection, careful monitoring, and supporting safe outcomes in high-risk pregnancies. Her areas of interest and expertise are comprehensive, covering a wide range of gynaecological and obstetrics diagnostic imaging. Well experienced in evaluating placenta previa/accreta spectrum, cervical length screening, and monitoring fetal well-being in critically affected pregnancies. Her skills include screening for fetal growth, intrauterine growth restriction, chromosomal anomaly scans/NT-NB scans, detailed anomaly scans/level II scans, detailed fetal neurosonograms.

Highly experienced in breast imaging and image-guided interventions, focusing on early detection, accurate diagnosis, and comprehensive breast care. She has gained expertise in multimodality breast imaging including digital mammography, tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, breast MRI & USG guided fetal & breast interventions, colour Doppler studies, Dexa scans, 3D & 4D ultrasounds, cross-sectional imaging and teleradiology.

She has formerly been attached to renowned hospitals in Delhi - NCR like Max Delhi, CK Birla Hospital Gurgaon & Apollo Cradle Hospital Gurgaon and has experience in all sorts of critical & advanced materno-fetal imaging, neonatal imaging as well as breast imaging scan reporting & interventions with accuracy and precision.
