Dr. Ashmina is well-trained in her field of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, with a keen interest in promoting Normal Vaginal Deliveries. She attained her Master’s degree from Assam Medical College & Hospital, Dibrugarh in 2015. Her career is decorated with her involvement with renowned hospitals, beginning with her senior residency at Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Delhi, in the year 2015, followed by her senior residency at Queen Mary Hospital, King George Medical University (KGMC, Lucknow) from 2016-17. She continued her academic journey by obtaining her Post Doctoral Certified Course degree (PDCC) in Maternal & Fetal Medicine from the prestigious Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI, Lucknow, 2017-19) hence making herself competent in handling high-risk obstetric cases such as recurrent pregnancy loss, pregnancies in young and aging mothers, obeseladies, ladies with common medical disorders and ladies with autoimmune conditions and so on. Such specialised Maternal-Fetal medical care allows her to follow through pregnancies without complications for both mother and child.

Dr. Ashmina is well trained in Minimal invasive gynaecological procedures (both laparoscopy & hysteroscopy) from Maharashtra under the expert guidance of Dr. Hrishikesh Pandit and has performed & assisted many procedures, including diagnostic hysteroscopy & laparoscopy, surgical hysteroscopic procedures such as septal resection, polypectomy, total laparoscopic hysterectomy, laparoscopic cystectomy, laparoscopic myomectomy and many others. These procedures avoid a large traumatic scar and help in faster post-operative recovery.

She has mammoth amount of work experience from Max Hospital, New Delhi and other local corporate hospitals in handling all kind of pregnancies. She has also trained herself in infertility from the i-CEAT academy under guidanceof Dr. Pankaj Talwar and continued to attain first hand practical experience in infertility & ART under Dr. Yogesh Shinde at Aurangabad.

Dr Ashmina has to her name various presentations, papers and posters inleading conferences and likes to stay academically tuned to the latest in line technology in patient care. She is an ardent reader and a vibrant personality, is easy to approach and welcomes any form of query from moms to be. Her goal remains to promote women’s health at all stages and to provide one on one care and comfort to the expecting mom and her family.

1.    Keen interest in Normal Vaginal Deliveries, including assisted vaginal deliveries using instruments such as outlet forceps and vacuums.

2.    Management of high-risk obstetric pregnancies, including Hypertension, Diabetes, Autoimmune disorders, multi-fetal pregnancies, growth-restricted babies, elderly mothers, young mothers, abnormal presentations of the baby and so on.

3.    Minimal invasive gynaecological surgeries ensure faster patient recovery and better pain relief.

4.    Safer and newer techniques of operative obstetric procedures including Cesarean Sections, Management of PPH and so on.

5.    Medical and surgical management of common gynecological conditions such as fibroids, adenomyosis, genital polyps, menstrual irregularities, PCOS and so on.

6.    Adolescent gynaecology, including management of menstrual irregularities, PCOS, Heavy menstrual bleeding, vaginal discharge and so on .

7.    Postpartum care, including lactation techniques and advice, nutrition, exercises and counselling.
