Dr. Hirday Kapoor is a renowned Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with over 30 years of clinical experience in women’s healthcare. She completed her MBBS from Lady Hardinge Medical College, followed by DGO from Armed Forces Medical College and DNB from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.

She is currently associated with Cloudnine Hospital as a Senior Consultant. Over the course of her distinguished career, she has worked with several reputed healthcare institutions, including Fortis Jessa Ram Hospital, BLK-Max Super Speciality Hospital, and Apollo Cradle.

Dr. Kapoor has extensive expertise in the management of high-risk pregnancies, including hypertension in pregnancy, gestational diabetes, fibroid pregnancies, multiple pregnancies, recurrent miscarriages, and bad obstetric history. Her clinical expertise also includes the management of PCOD, infertility, abnormal uterine bleeding, and various gynaecological disorders.

She is highly skilled in advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive gynaecological procedures, including total laparoscopic hysterectomy, laparoscopic myomectomy, ectopic pregnancy surgery, endometriosis surgery, and ovarian cystectomy. She also has expertise in cosmetic and minimally invasive gynaecological procedures, including vaginal laxity correction, hymen repair, management of acquired vaginal defects, and laser therapy for stress urinary incontinence.

Her surgical training and clinical practice have been shaped by extensive experience at leading teaching and multi-speciality hospitals. During her tenure at Fortis Jessa Ram Hospital, she managed a high volume of obstetric and gynaecological cases, further strengthening her expertise in complex surgical and maternity care. She has consistently enhanced her surgical and laparoscopic skills through advanced training programmes, including courses conducted at the Ethicon Institute of Surgical Education.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Kapoor has actively contributed to medical education and professional training. She has experience teaching and mentoring medical graduates, nursing students, DGO students of Delhi University, and allied healthcare students in physiotherapy, laboratory technology, and radiodiagnosis. She has also conducted CME sessions on antenatal fetal surveillance in high-risk pregnancies.
