Rama is a highly experienced, compassionate and dedicated Lactation Counsellor for feeding new-borns. She did her masters from Home Science College Chandigarh and Human Lactation Management Course by Breastfeeding Promotion Network of India. She joined Postgraduate Institute Medical Education and Research Chandigarh. Here she was primarily responsible for encouraging, educating, counselling, hands on training and solving feeding problems of both term and preterm mothers.

She has also worked with many reputable institutions when it comes to Lactation Counselling.She took immense interest in creating awareness for breastfeeding in Rural and Urban areas as a part of PGIMER research where she is actively involved and published a number of papers in both National and International journals. Rama has also been a part of service training program for WHO, UNICEF and Ministry of Family Health and Welfare Government of India.Apart from her profession she loves playing badminton and reading books.
