Dr. Sowmya T K is a senior lady surgeon with over 18 years of experience and a special interest in breast diseases. She has extensive expertise in managing both elective and emergency general surgical cases, as well as performing laparoscopic surgeries.

She proficiently manages an outpatient department (OPD) handling over 100 breast cases each month, with specialized expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of both benign and malignant breast diseases in women. Her clinical practice also includes the management of male breast cancer and gynecomastia.

Dr. Sowmya possesses a strong academic and clinical foundation in modern cancer treatment protocols. She is actively involved in patient care, clinical research, and public education, demonstrating a commitment to advancing breast health awareness and delivering comprehensive, evidence-based surgical care.

Dr. Sowmya T K holds the FIAGES (Fellowship of the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons), which she earned in 2008. She has also completed the Basic Medical Education Technology Certification from Sri Ramachandra University, Chennai, and successfully completed the Basic Course in Biomedical Research, further strengthening her academic and clinical expertise.
