Dr. Anand Singh Kushwaha is a Senior Consultant in Paediatric Surgery with over 15 years of extensive experience in the field. Renowned for his precision, focus, and dedication, he has successfully performed more than 5,000 paediatric and neonatal surgeries. His core areas of interest include neonatal surgery, paediatric urology, and paediatric laparoscopic procedures, with a strong focus on managing complex congenital surgical conditions in newborns and children.

Dr. Kushwaha has wide-ranging expertise in the treatment of congenital neonatal surgical anomalies involving the chest and abdomen, including conditions such as pulmonary sequestration, imperforate anus, tracheoesophageal fistula (TEF), congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH), bowel atresia, and neonatal tumors. His paediatric urology practice includes management of hypospadias, undescended testes (UDT), posterior urethral valves (PUV), pyeloplasty, ureteric reimplantation, and kidney tumors. He is also highly skilled in minimally invasive paediatric laparoscopic surgeries, including appendectomy, surgery for impalpable testis, and excision of intra-abdominal cysts.

Actively involved in academics, Dr. Kushwaha has over four years of teaching experience and has played a key role in the training of postgraduate and DNB students. He regularly participates as a faculty member, panelist, and speaker in national and international conferences, CMEs, and workshops related to paediatric and neonatal surgery.

His academic credentials include MBBS, MS, and M.Ch degrees. He has received several recognitions for his academic and clinical excellence, including a National Award under the National Scholarship Scheme (1991) and First Prize for poster presentation at the Annual Conference of the Association of Surgeons of India (MP Chapter) in 2006 for his work titled “Mesh Repair of Exomphalos Major in a Newborn.” He has also served as a panelist at multiple paediatric surgery and paediatric conferences.

Dr. Kushwaha has previously been associated with leading medical institutions such as Mata Chanan Devi Hospital, Lady Hardinge Medical College and Kalawati Saran Children Hospital, New Delhi, as well as Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, and its associated Kamla Nehru Hospital.
