If the baby has any cardiovascular problem or heart problem or a baby with a biochemical or enzymatic deficiencies they cannot be taken up in physical examination by a paediatrician or a neonatologist and they can be only picked up by a test called as neonatal screening and if you pick up them they may lead a normal life. If they don’t pick up they can damage life. So it is important to do newborn screening at birth to save neonatal life"
