Safe & Unsafe Medications During Pregnancy

During pregnancy, it’s natural to experience common health issues like fever, cold, acidity, nausea, constipation, and allergies. However, not all medications are safe to take at this time. In this video, Dr. Parul Jain, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Cloudnine Hospital, Sector 47, Gurugram, explains which medications are safe for managing these issues, including paracetamol for fever, steam inhalation or saline sprays for cold, antacids for acidity, and stool softeners for constipation. She also highlights medications that should be strictly avoided, such as tetracyclines, warfarin, NSAIDs, and certain antibiotics, as they may harm your baby.
