"First important thing is bathing for personal hygiene usually after birth, after 24 hours, bathing is done with lukewarm water, not adding any soap. Only by lukewarm water the bathing is done for a couple of days and then mild neutral pH soap is used. All baby soaps contain a mild neutral pH soap has been used. For the mother as well bathing regularly will be helpful, the second will be nipple care is most important because babies feeding through the breast . So nipple comes in frequent contact with the baby. So nipple care is washing them regularly, keeping it clean. That will help in ensuring good hygiene for the mother as well as the baby"
