"After a delivery usually you won't be having cycles for a few months depending upon your breastfeeding. If you're breastfeeding your baby you may not have your cycles for 3 months 4 months 6 months or anything. But once you're just raining off your from breastfeeding the cycle irregularity can happen. Again mostly it's because of the prolactin hormone which is important for breastfeeding. When this hormone is at a higher level you may not have your Cycles or you may have transient irregular cycles. But you don't have to worry about two to three Cycles yes little disturbed and then the regular pattern sets in. So you don't have to worry when you're breastfeeding or having irregular cycles. But the only thing you should be worried about is not to have any unpredicted intercourse. Because still a possibility of pregnancy is there and for the irregular cycles post childbirth don't have to worry about waiting for two to three cycles if it's still behaving irregularly then you'll see a gynecologist"
