A compassionate and caring doctor with immense dedication towards her profession. A graduate and Postgraduate of Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sewagram which is famous for it's Gandhian principles and ethics. She has been meritorious student and received 15 medals during her medical career like Usha Hardas Gold Medal and Pfizer Gold Medal. She joined Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI) Chandigarh as a Senior resident and later worked as a Consultant before moving to the private sector.  Worked as Senior consultant at Prestigious Hospitals like Fortis Mohali, Max Superspeciality, Indus Superspeciality Mohali before joining Cloudnine Hospital Chandigarh.  She has delivered more than 10,000 babies with High Risk Pregnancy Management as her field of interest.  She had an opportunity to work at High Risk Clinic at PGI for majority of her PGI tenure motivated her to seek American College fellowship on High Risk Pregnancy.  She also has a keen interest in managing Gynecological problems amongst women of all ages.

She undertook an Advanced Laparoscopic Training and has successfully managed complicated Gynaecological disorders and Malignancies in women. She also has a special interest in bringing awareness about the cancers in women as she believes that Early Detection is the key to complete cure in Cancer.  She has been a keen academician with many papers  in International and National Journals to her credit. She has been invited as Guest Speaker  in various National Conferences. An active member of various societies Indian Menopause Society as Treasurer and executive member of Chandigarh Obstetric and Gynaecology Society.  

Social work being the most important part of training at MGIMS Sevagram she continues to do her duty by being convenor of Club 35 plus and also conducts awareness sessions among women groups. She has been recipient of Pranay Health Care Excellence award,Swami Vivekananda Excellence award. She was recently in 2019- felicitated at by an International award Lords of Planet Conclave for Exceptional Services for Women Health.
