1. Clinical Psychology:
This specific stream of psychology deals with diagnosis, treatment and improvement of intellectual disabilities in people. With a sudden need to understand diseases like Autism, ADHA and learning disabilities, there seems to be a massive buzz around this stream of work which is catching up fast and creating countless career opportunities.
2. Genetic Counselling:
This involves identification of health risks by studying cells of a patient and evaluating degree of threat/disorder by inherited genes. Genetic counselling allows reducing the risk of genetic disorders especially in pregnant women and improve quality of life by exploring options available in management of the same.
